"Can Viddymatic help me monetize my website?"

Yes, it can - here's why...

YES!...

Although it can be more advantageous to use your own hosted flv/mov/mp4 files on your own website, you can indeed use a YouTube video instead... and redirect it to any other page after it finishes playing (or during play by easily adding a 'click strip')

"Do I need to use a service like Amazon S3 to host my own videos?"

Not at all - any webhosting service will work (including Amazon S3). Viddymatic doesn't care where your videos 'live'. It's just that it has an extra feature specifically for Amazon S3.

"What type of video files will I be able to use?"

Viddymatic plays any of the 'flash-compatible' formats: flv files, plus mov (quicktime) or mp4 files encoded using 'H.264 / AVC' compression.

And if you create your videos in that 'mp4' format, Viddymatic will automatically be able to show them to visitors using smartphones, iPhones, iPads and tablets without any extra messy scripting or setup-work on your part. It's all handled seemlessly by Viddymatic in the background for you!

"Can Viddymatic create popups of standard web pages as well as videos or mp3s?"

Yes. There's a very simple way to do this, as explained in the members area.

"Can I upgrade a license to cover more domains at a later time?"

Yes - upgrades within 60 days are currently the difference between the price paid and the price of the upgrade license (at the time of the upgrade). After 60 days there's just a one-time upgrade fee to add on top ($10 for 1 to 5 domain upgrade, $20 for 5 to 'All' domain upgrade).

 

"I am a web developer: can I use Viddymatic on client sites?"

No. You would require a special Developer license for that - please contact us personally for details.
